This is a low angle looking up at the characters and the
shopping mall. This shows hope for them that they have finally found a place to
get them away from the harsh reality they are facing. However, this is also a
long shot establishing how large the place is compared to the characters and it
symbolises consumerism's power over us all. It's showing how important it is
still in everyday life as all the zombies are drawn to one place and they still
have that connection in their brain. We also see all the characters in this
scene and there are a wide variety of races, from Kenneth (Black) to Ana
(White, Blonde) to Luda (Eastern European). This is showing how modern society
has moved on and become far more diverse as racism isn’t an issue anymore.
